Towing
Tons of Towing Capability
The 2024 Ford Explorer® SUV has the strength to tow up to 5,600 lbs.,* when equipped with the Class IV Trailer Tow Package, and the tech to help make it easier with Tow/Haul mode on the standard Terrain Management System™. Working with AdvanceTrac® with RSC® (Roll Stability Control™), standard trailer sway control selectively brakes and adjusts engine power to help you maintain command.39 So, you can confidently take a boat, trailer or camper along on any trip.

Available PowerFold® third-row seats make it easy to accommodate passengers and cargo. With the seats up, the Ford Explorer® SUV can carry seven people. They also quickly fold down for more cargo room. The available twin-panel moonroof does more than just let light in. It offers an impressive view of the sky and lets you feel the warmth of the sun.
Connected Tech for Easy Trips
The 2024 Ford Explorer® SUV comes equipped with plenty of smart road trip-ready features. Ford Co-Pilot360™ Technology helps you navigate increasingly distracting and crowded roads. Staying connected is easy too, with standard SYNC® 3 Technology and FordPass® Connect™ along for the ride. The Rear View Camera provides a clear view of what’s behind your vehicle so you can navigate reverse with confidence. The available wireless charging pad can charge a smartphone or compatible device without plugging it in.* Simply place the device on the pad and it automatically charges.
